Sure, you could do it over and over and over and over and over again until you do know by heart and pixel where to stand, in what direction to push while at the same time pushing the button of your beloved controller.īut getting there, to the other side of not having this knowledge, is like having to walk through hell. What we have, then, is this so-so game with some mentioned missteps not distracting too much from the great presentation. What is impressive, however, is the graphics and the kind of feel it manages to squeeze out of the rendered environments.Īnd the ridicilously iconic soundtrack which deserves all the praise it gets. Never crossing the line of being bad or resulting in a tedious experience, although the somewhat messy underground maze lingers that very thing. As well as the fact that the only kind of battle that seems truly efficient is the one where you hit and run and then hit again.Īlso, the level design is quite confusing at times.
